Tēnā koutou,
Whānau participation, feedback into the consultation document for the LTP is very important. Our first two drop in sessions at the Te Uri o Hau Tangata Development office and Te Roroa office were successful and there is one final opportunity to get whānau along to a Mana Whenua in person event. Our in person events provide an opportunity for you to kōrero with Elected members and staff!
The Councilors are asking for feedback on specific topics like ideas for the future Dargaville community hub, whether council should be changing the way it funds parks and libraries, a targeted rate for Dargaville Sportsville, and more, but you can comment on anything.
Read the consultation document for info (on the website https://www.kaipara.govt.nz/ltp or pick one up from the Mangawhai or Dargaville office or Dargaville library) and then have your say by :
Download and fill out this form (PDF) and deliver to any Kaipara District
Council office or library across Kaipara District (post to Kaipara District Council Long Term Plan submissions, Private Bag 1001, Dargaville 0340)
You can also scan and send a submission to haveyoursay@kaipara.govt.nz
There is an expected average rates rise of 8.9% after growth over the next three years! Check what your proposed rates will be for 2024/2025 year using our on line rates property search calculator.
Awhina mai koa, tohaina ēnei kaupapa e haere mai ana, please share the next upcoming events on your social media platforms, email contacts and encourage whānau and friends to make a submission.
