Te Roroa has a dedicated COVID-19 Response Team made up of two Kaiwhakamana and two Kaimanaaki. Our team provides wrap-around support for whānau who are required to self-isolate due to contracting COVID-19. The team also support whānau experiencing additional challenges due to COVID-19 by connecting whānau with primary care and social support services where needed.
Mobile Hauora Outreach
We have recently launched a new Mobile Hauora Outreach Clinic services. Winder wellness assessments and immunisations are available.
Nurture our Whakapapa
The Nurture our Whakapapa Project is a new research kaupapa led by Te Roroa. Our aim is to better understand the wellbeing needs and aspirations of our whānau and communities.
Our key questions are:
What does wellbeing look like to our whānau?
What challenges do our whānau face in living well, together?
How can Te Roroa better support our whānau to live well and thrive?
What are we doing to explore whānau wellbeing?
Talking to whānau about what's important to them.
Holding whānau wānanga across our rohe of Te Roroa.
Creating and publishing a whānau wellbeing survey.
This project is led by Te Roroa Charitable Trust and is funded by the New Zealand Health Research Council
